I was on the Guest during the Iwo
and Okinawa battles and have a log
of the Guest Activities starting March
16, 1945 thru June 18, 1945, as well as
a list of personnel aboard at that time.
Because of the age of the carbon copy I
have, it is difficult, if not impossible
to read. If you are interested RSVP this
msg. It will take sometime to prepare a
readable copy.

I am sending you a brief history of
the above subject along with details of
the officers and men who received awards
while on the Guest. I am also sendina a
copy of the only full picture of the
Guest I have via USMAIL along with a few
of the best pictures of some of the
officers and men.
I dont have a scanner and the quality
of the outcome prooduced by some friends
was so poor I junked it. The detailed
list of officers and men is approximately
270 names. I will reproduce and send to
you.
