This web site is dedicated to the World War II Crewmembers
and families of the USS THATCHER DD514.
Built by Robert E. (Bob) Ross, RMCS, US Navy (RET) who served on the USS HUDSON DD475.
Thanks to everyone who contributed information and photos.
Although the USS THATCHER DD514 was in Destroyer Squadron 23, the
USS HUDSON DD475 operated with her quite often. I knew some of
the Radiomen and decided to add her to my site.
